About Jim
Jim Strickland, Realtor/Sales Associate, lives in Destin but runs the highways and back roads of Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay County on a daily basis. In fact, you might see him traveling down roads from Panama City, Florida to Gulf Shores, Alabama. He loves selling land from 10 acres to 1,000 acres and Commercial properties. He jokingly tells people he has been called “The Land Man” since the day he was born! After all, his last name ends with “land.”
Jim has been a Realtor in Florida for four years but he has been personally investing in real estate over 30 years. He believes you cannot sell something that you don’t believe in yourself! Before moving to North Palm Beach, Florida 27 years ago and then to Destin nearly 20 years ago, Jim owned over 2,000 apartments in Birmingham, Alabama. He tells everyone that’s the reason he has “gray” hair today!
Jim is no stranger to sales either; for over 20 years he was involved in the Direct Sales Industry recruiting and training an international organization of over 550,000 independent sales associates in 70 countries generating over $1.5 billion dollars in sales!
Jim loves what he does … and that’s why he has been so successful at it! He loves selling land and Commercial properties! Now he is focused on providing “Affordable Housing” in Mossy Head for all of the U.S. Army 7th Special Forces Group transferring here from Fort Bragg, N.C.
If you are ever driving Hwy 90 East between Crestview and DeFuniak Springs, Hwy 20 near Freeport, or Hwy 331-South between Hwy 98 and Freeport or DeFuniak Springs and Freeport … or even near Panama City Beach, you’re likely to see several park benches, billboards, and child safety shelters with Jim’s ads.
