About Ken

Ken’s approach with real estate clients is somewhat of a friend or family member, always keeping his client’s and new friend’s best interests at heart. Whenever he had personally bought or sold real estate Ken did not enjoy working with overly zealous and aggressive agents. He considers himself to be a home hunter rather than a salesman. He finds the homes that fit his client’s wants and needs and the right house will sell its self.

Ken was brought into this world with a view of the Gateway to the west in St. Louis, Missouri. At a young age he moved from state to state with his family enjoying many wonderful sites this country has to offer. Arriving on the Emerald Coast in 1972, known then as The Miracle Strip, he realized Destin was his home. With traveling ingrained in his soul Ken globe trotted the world extensively enjoying the culture and architecture of the regions. He recalls at the age of 13 becoming interested in architecture and spending many hours at the coffee table designing floor plans to dream homes.

Ken’s love of music got the best of him and he spent most of his life deeply involved in performing music. He majored in Guitar performance and graduated the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood California in 1983. Earning a good living as a musician, he found his days free to dream and view real estate anywhere he was performing.

Investing in real estate led him to his wonderful new career. A long time resident of The Emerald Coast, Ken has witnessed the growth of his little piece of paradise into a world class destination.
